  • BtVS watcher since: Fall 1999. I had seen the movie on the silver screen, and thought it, well, stupid. I had heard that the TV show was much better, but I had never gotten around to actually watching it. Until, an old friend of mine started coming by to visit on Tuesday evenings in the Fall of '99. Talking was minimal since he insisted on sacking out on my couch and watching BTvS. "But it's funny!", he argued. To make a long story short, by the end of the season, I was hopelessly hooked. I re-watched the early season 4 eps over the summer, since I hadn't paid close attention at first. Ok, that was lengthy.

  • Origin of posting name: Sophie just sounded like a good name. No, it's not my real name. It has nothing to do with BTvS (as far as I know). It was my car's name until I sold it and moved to NYC.
  • Age / species / day-job: 29 - again, and again, and again. Human. I was an architect until I decided to re-invent myself and became an urban planning student.
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: I was struggling to decide on my favorite quote to insert here, until I read Masquerade's answer to this question. Never mind.
  • Favorite philosopher: Le Corbusier. Oh, you mean the regular kind. Sartre. Schopenhauer. Hegel. And Jung.
