  • BtVS watcher since: I didn't want to watch Buffy. I resisted for years. I was 32, and had enough trouble getting people to take me seriously how would I keep it from my roommates?! Even my best friend in the world couldn't convince me, the one who turned me onto every good show or movie in the past ten years. Finally I agreed to watch, just to get him off my back. We watched two episodes of Season 1, and I tried not to snort too much. He skipped ahead in the season and I watched again. After an hour I told him to take out the tape, and put in the episodes in sequence. Four weeks and 2 1/2 seasons later, well, you know how it is...

  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: --who says I do? I have a life, you know. Oh, you mean what's the best thing about it--sorry--. (Must be an '8' day..) The character deconstructions, definitely, and essays on How Things Work. I love writing them as much as reading them.
