BtVS watcher since:
"Ted" in Season Two.
-
Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since:
shortly after "The Body" aired last year.
-
Origin of posting name:
My real name is Robert, so I had the brilliant idea of dropping off the "ert" and the rest is history. I know, I know...not very original, but, since I love Anya so much, I've been thinking of changing my name to "Bunny Hunter." Not really. :)
-
Age / species / day-job:
22 / male / college student/office assistant/writer-trying to work on some science fiction and fantasy works

Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote:
My favorite "Buffy" quote of all time has to be "Fire bad, tree pretty." I think it's just the most ingenious use of the English language, well, ever. And then, of course, I loved the follow-up in "Flooded," when Buffy humorously thought of burning her house down and said, "Fire pretty."

Favorite philosopher:
Joseph Campbell, Joseph Campbell, and Joseph Campbell. I was first introduced to his work in an eighth grade class on King Arthur. Yes, eighth grade is early to begin reading him, but I was in an advanced class. What can I say? I'm a genius. Again, not really. :)

TTMQ:
20/10...Yes, that much. I literally lie in bed at night when something in a "Buffy" or "Angel" episode doesn't fit in exactly right with the accepted mythology. I don't fall asleep until I can finally rationalize how it works!

Strangest thread topic ever posted:
would probably have to be the one Rowan did about Spike's cheekbones. Strange, but very enjoyable to read!
-
Coolest thread topic ever posted:
hmmm...tough one...I think that would be Wisewoman's character study of Anya at the Anniversary Party this past summer. I loved that so much I printed it out!

Why I love this board more than unlife itself:
because it's the most intelligent board I've ever found...for any show. This board treats "Buffy" with respect, and as a work of art, which it is. I was tired of going to the multitudes of "Buffy" sites with no more content than "Buffy rules!" and sentence-long episode synopses. I love Masq's analyses, and I actually have printed every page of the site out and put them in a binder for quick reference after viewing a "Buffy" episode (it took like 500 pages, not j/k!) And the posters on this board are all really smart, terrific, challenge my mind, and help me figure out aspects of the philosophy/mythology/metaphysics of "Buffy" that I may not have figured out on my own. I love you guys! :D
