  • BtVS watcher since: Being a vampire-phile, I anxiously awaited the first episode of BtVS and have been watching ever since. The only episode I've ever missed was Passion, which I eventually saw on one of the pre-recorded video sets.
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: I've been visiting the ATPoBtVS/AtS site since April 2000 and hanging out at the posting board since at least October 2000. I started posting very shortly after discovering the board.
  • Origin of posting name: Purple is my favorite color, hence my posting name.
  • Age / species / day-job: 42 / human female / technical writer/editor (also write fiction, create jewelry, etc.)
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: Lots of favorites - Spike's voiceover in In the Dark,
    Angel's voiceover in Passion,
    Riley's comments to Xander about Buffy in The Replacement to name a few.
    But the one I always fall back on is "I don't want to spend the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet." - Spike in Becoming, Part I.
  • Favorite philosopher: Hmmm, no real favorite. But if pressed I'd have to go with Thomas Kuhn, since I've actually read his book.

  • Strangest thread topic ever posted: Silly love songs for the BtVS/Angel characters. And almost no one took me seriously! ;-)
  • Coolest thread topic ever posted: No favorites come immediately to mind. But any topic thread that makes a lot of us post and comment back and forth is a good thread.
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: Other than the obvious obsession with BtVS/Angel and vampires in general, the intelligent, thoughtful, silly people that hang out here. I consider you friends although we've never met face to face.
