  • BtVS watcher since: I started watching BtVS near the end of Season 1, Nightmares. I caught all of season 1 the next year on Monday nights. Ah, the early days of the WB.
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: I have been lurking since the start of season 6.
  • Origin of posting name: In my very first post I called myself "randy," but it didn't feel right. After that I called myself "manwitch" and that felt right. Manwitch is what Xander calls himself in Bargaining when he is trying to inflate his power and protect the women, but in reality he is associating himself with a sloppy joe sandwich meal helper. The women are, of course, gracious and supportive in spite of his mistake.
  • Age / species / day-job: I'm a 37 yr old male, reasonably human, designer (glorified brick-layer) of travel catalogs.
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: I feel like I remember them all. But the one that got me hooked on the show for good would be from Prophecy Girl: "Its OK. I know who you are."
  • Favorite philosopher: My favorite philosophers are, surprise surprise, Nietzsche and Foucault.
  • TTMQ: 5 I try to let things "affect" me before I think about them. Plus my thoughts aren't always worth that kind of quantification.
  • Strangest thread topic ever posted: I wouldn't know.
  • Coolest thread topic ever posted: Lots to choose from. I'll go with Etrangere's series of posts about season 4.
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: I was making some Buffy video tape packaging for a friend who didn't get reception and hadn't seen seasons one and two, so I was cruising the net looking for images and came accross this site. I don't always agree with or even understand what everybody's saying, but I was thrilled to see a site where so many people accorded the show the respect it deserved, you know, sitting forward and thinking about it.
