  • BtVS watcher since: The rerun of OMWF. Our local paper had run a really good review of the show, so I tried it and was blown away by the episode. Been hooked ever since.
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: Fall of 2002, after finding out about the board from Google.
  • Origin of posting name: fidhle is Gaelic for fiddle in the genitive case, such as in the phrase "of the fiddle." I am a Scottish/Celtic fiddler and have a band called the Homespun Ceilidh Band.
  • Age / species / day-job: 39 and counting / human / attorney, working as a Public Defender in juvenile court in Maryland.
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: There are so many, but I will go with this quote from "Anne:"
    Buffy: Hey, Ken, wanna see my impression of Gandhi?
    She wields back the club and brings it down hard onto his head, crushing his skull. Lily comes up behind her and looks at him squeamishly.
    Lily: Gandhi?
    Buffy: Well, you know, if he was really pissed off.
  • Favorite philosopher: Calvin & Hobbs, with the able assistance of Tiger.

  • a. Most memorable thread (by yourself or someone else): Again, there have been so many. A recent very memorable thread has been the "Dreamer Easy in the Chair That Really Fits You - Thoughts on *End of Days* & *Chosen*" thread by OnM. A really great summary of the final arc of the series.
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: I love being able to discuss Buffy with such a lovely group of intelligent people, all of whom love this little TV show with the silly title that just may be the best thing to appear on TV ever. It is certainly the first show of which I have become a fan, so I now consider myself a Buffyholic. Also, the Board helps so much in getting over Buffy withdrawage.
