  • BtVS watcher since: Sporadically since "Welcome to the Hellmouth," although I didn't start watching religiously until the midpoint of Season 5. Still, thanks to some friends with tapes, I am officially caught up and have seen all episodes to date.
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: About six months ago or so, figure April or May of this year (2001).
  • Origin of posting name: Simple, it's my name. It always helps me to temper my comments, because I'm putting my own name on them.
  • Age / species / day-job: 30 / Male Human / Accounting Specialist (ooh! fancy title -- wish I had the money to match it).
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: Faith's reply to Buffy about killing someone; something like "no, B, YOU don't get it, I don't care." Of course she did, but that took her another whole season and a different series to figure out ...
  • Favorite philosopher: Aquinas was one of the few Christian philosophers (as far as I know) to actually consider that man could consciously cancel out his Divine Right to Life by his own actions. Heavy.
  • TTMQ: Dunno, 8? Ever been paralyzed into inaction because you couldn't move beyond THINKING about something, and getting to the DOING phase? That's me, and I drive my friends nuts with it. If I hear "just DO it" one more time, I'll break down and become a Nike symbol:)
  • Strangest thread topic ever posted: Not sure, maybe the ones that come along trolling? Haven't really archived them to check.
  • Coolest thread topic ever posted: Most of them are pretty cool. Lots of smart people here -- so I hang out in the hopes of absorbing some of it.
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: Because of the great viewpoints, and the fact that almost without exception, people here are polite, open-minded, and tolerant. Don't see that a lot in internet boards.
