  • BtVS watcher since: I have watched (and recorded) Buffy since it began in March of '97. Back in the old days, when only about four people watched it. It hit the ground running and hasn't stopped yet.
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: I found this forum around April of this year, and there was much rejoicing. I began posting about a month after that.
  • Origin of posting name: The spelling of my name is derived from James Joyce's "Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man," and is naturally linked to the great artisan of Greek mythology.
  • Age / species / day-job: I am 25 years of age / male - oh species - human / and am currently a freelance writer/probably soon-to-be grad student.
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: Unfair question, but - "You're just a mortal ... you couldn't understand my pain." "Then I guess I'll just have to settle for causing it."
  • Favorite philosopher: Probably Chuang Tzu. And Joseph Campbell was no slouch either.

  • Strangest thread topic ever posted: My strangest post was "It's always got to be oil." It contemplated what season five would have been like if Dawn had been brought into existence as a car (specifically a Chevrolet Cavalier).
  • Coolest thread topic ever posted: My coolest post was tying in Schopenhauer's "Basis of Morality" in with Buffy's realization in The Gift.
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: I love this place because the posters are really intelligent, polite, and generally inspirational.
