BtVS watcher since:
Season 1, "I Robot, You Jane"

Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since:
I've been lurking about since October, 2001, but I've been visiting Masq's site for a lot longer.
-
Origin of posting name:
In Egyptian mythology, Apophis (in Greek; in Egyptian, "Apep") is the massive serpent who battles the sun god Ra every night. He is a symbol of primal chaos, seeking to devour the world. He was so fearsome that even the evil god Set joined the battle against him, though every time Set killed him, Apophis got better. He dwelled outside of reality in the Uncreated (just like me!), sustained by his own voice. I always thought that was kinda cool.

Age / species / day-job:
20 / loser / college student
-
Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote:
Tie: "Do I like shrubs?"
"That's between you and your god."
and "Sometimes, I'm callous and strange."
-
Favorite philosopher:
Dennis Miller/Yeshua ben Yosef (sometimes, I like to show off for no good reason)
-
TTMQ:
I'd say a good 8 on thinking too much (though it took me ten minutes to decide that)
-
Strangest thread topic ever posted:
The strangest thing I ever posted questioned whether Buffy was worthy of lifting the hammer of Thor (Marvel version). Someone replied with a "Jack Kirby does Buffy," which was pretty funny.
-
Coolest thread topic ever posted:
I don't remember too many (though I know there've been lots). The one that sticks in my mind compared Xander to the Jewish literary archetype the Schlemiel (spelling?).
-
Why I love this board more than unlife itself:
because after watching BtVS and AtS, my mind twitches with questions and comments. I come here, and everything's better.
