Anthony8
  • BtVS watcher since: 'Never Kill A Boy On The First Date' (Season 1).
  • Hanging out at the ATPoBtVS Posting board since: Lurking since March 2001, First post in May or June (I think).
  • Origin of posting name: Not very original. Anthony because it's my name. 8 because at least two other people in my family have co-opted this name although I was chronologically the first, so I might as well be the eighth. No, actually, I have always had a fascination with "8's" (and "3's", for that matter) for as long as I can remember. 8 feels like the deepest blue you can imagine (favorite color) and that's about as good as I can explain it.
  • Age / species / day-job: 32 / 8472 / Musician (Oh, day job. Then, I guess legal A.A./temp is the best description)
  • Most memorable BtVS/AtS quote: I have three favorite BtVs quotes.
First is Faith to Buffy in 'Bad Girls': "Who said I had a plan? I don't know how many's down there, but I wanna find out. And I'll know when I land. If you don't come in after me (shrugs and smiles) I might die!"
Second is Willow in 'Triangle': "Alternate universes don't stay put. Trying to send him to a specific place is sort of like...like trying to hit a...puppy, by throwing a live bee at it. Which is a weird image, and you should all just forget it."
And finally, Willow from 'Doppelgangland': "That's me as a vampire? I'm so evil and...skanky. (Aside to Buffy) And I think I'm kinda gay."
  • Favorite philosopher: Jung (Okay, he's not really a philosopher) and Felix the Cat (because he's a real instigator).
  • TTMQ: 11. (No, really -- my guitar amp is louder 'cos it can go to eleven).
  • Strangest thread topic ever posted: By me (don't know). By others (Anything Pythonesque always goes to some fun and strange places).
  • Coolest thread topic ever posted: By me (couldn't say). By others (too many to choose any single topic).
  • Why I love this board more than unlife itself: It's like college again, but with a little more focused intellect. It's like law school again, but with a lot more humor and a lot less agression.
